Debuting today, on World Tourism Day, September 27th, 2024, this integrated experience invites players to explore and engage with the vibrant culture and diversity of Southeast Asia like never before—transcending digital boundaries for an immersive journey.
The #ImaginASEAN’s Great Metaverse Hunt is not just a game; it is an invitation to explore, learn, and celebrate Southeast Asia’s unique cultural diversity, showcasing how this region is truly a destination for every dream. Through an interactive and immersive experience within Roblox, players will see the beauty of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Viet Nam.
AirAsia and Agoda, Southeast Asia-based digital travel platforms, return as this year’s sponsors, offering prizes to three winners who complete the missions the quickest.

ASEAN Korea Centre Showcasing the Jeju ASEAN Hall
The ASEAN-Korea Centre will also join as a partner as part of the #ImaginASEAN’s Great Metaverse Hunt experience. In the game, players can explore a virtual version of the Jeju ASEAN Hall, where they will be introduced to a guide who leads them through key information about Southeast Asia’s relationship with the Republic of Korea. The Jeju ASEAN Hall will showcase important cultural and tourism resources about the two dynamic regions, allowing players to immerse themselves in both Southeast Asian and Korean highlights. Additionally, there are two hidden objects within the hall for players to discover, offering extra points for those who complete the scavenger hunt. This addition will come later in the game on October 9, 2024.
The Jeju ASEAN Hall is an exhibition space located within the Jeju International Peace Center, operated by the ASEAN-Korea Centre, Jeju Province, and the Jeju International Peace Center, to strengthen mutual understanding and people-to-people exchange between ASEAN and Korea.
