Celebrating its 487th anniversary this year, Indonesia’s capital city Jakarta will again hold its annual mega exhibition and entertainment show for one full month. The Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2014 will take place at the Jakarta International Exhibition Center, Kemayoran, from 6th June to 6th July 2014.
As always, the event will feature pavilions from provincial governments, corporations, and small and medium scale enterprises. Various top products from all scales of businesses will fill booths and pavilions at the sprawling Jakarta International Exhibition Center at Kemayoran. The fair will also be enhanced with various art performances to entertain visitors, ranging from musical shows, the Miss Jakarta Fair Beauty Pageant, Carnivals, and many others.
This year, spectacular music performances will be staged in the 31 days non-stop JIExpo Music Concerts featuring some of Indonesia’s most popular musicians and bands including SLANK, IWAN FALS, TONY Q, ARI LASSO, WALI, JKT 48, NAIF, STEVEN JAM, SOULJAH, KOTAK, RAISA, SID, TYPE X, THE CHANGCUTERS, ENDANK SOEKAMTI, SHEILA ON 7, BURGERKILL, WINNER, and many more.
As a special addition this year, for the first time, the organizing committee of Jakarta Fair also presents the Road to Jakarta Fair 2014, pre-events held in several places in Jakarta. Aside from promoting the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2014, the pre events are also held as audition sessions for bands who wish to perform in the fair, as well as for the Miss Jakarta Fair beauty pageant.
The Road to Jakarta Fair will be held in 5 different Seven Eleven Stores all across Jakarta on the 4th, 7th, 10th, 13th, and 16th May 2014. Starting from 16.00 hrs to 21.00 hrs West Indonesia Time, the auditions seek to find 20 bands who will also perform in the JIExpo Music Concerts of the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran 2014. For the Miss Jakarta Fair 2014, 5 winners of the auditions will get wild cards to compete in the Miss Jakarta Fair Semi Final.
The Road to Jakarta Fair 2014 will also feature performances from some of Indonesia’s renowned musicians including Ten2Five, The Rain, Drew Bubu Giri, and Adithia Sofyan.
